My Body LK+
Major body parts and organs are highlighted in all parts of this unit. Students learn the function and location in the body of each part; worksheets provide opportunity for independent practice. Recycle

Stop, Drop and Roll
Firefighter Andy stars in the Classroom Suite story as he shows students the special clothes he wears to keep safe. The anchor book "Don't Touch Hot Things" and songboard point out hot and dangerous items and places in the home environment. An additional computer activity teaches important safety concepts to older students.

Students will learn that direction may be provided by more than one type of sign, and can complete a community signs scavenger hunt on their next mobility trip. The Playground LK+
Understanding cooperative behavior and rules in social situations can be a challenge for many students. “The Playground” exposes students to rules and appropriate behavior before the actual event, and may be used for reinforcement when recess is finished.
