Going to the Dentist
Going to the DentistThe materials in this unit help students understand what to expect when going to the dentist. Events are sequenced in the Boardmaker book and computer story, which has digital photos. Sequence cards reinforce and reassure events, both in the classroom and while at the dentist. Practice brushing teeth with the songboard and do a survey of favorite toothpastes. LK-DDS $35

The Playground LK+
The PlaygroundUnderstanding cooperative behavior and rules in social situations can be a challenge for many students. “The Playground” exposes students to rules and appropriate behavior before the actual event, and may be used for reinforcement when recess is finished. Concepts include waiting in line, turn-taking, no hitting / kicking, and sharing. LK-TP $45

What TIme is It? LK+
What Time Is It?Introductory unit about concepts of time (clock, hour, minute) and times of day (morning, afternoon, evening, night). Build understanding talking about common activities that occur during each time period. Extension activities include matching analog and digital clocks, with time to the hour and half-hour.

Money SkillsSimply the basics - identify coins and a dollar bill; understand their value. Reinforcement and practice are provided in BINGO, tic-tac-toe, matching worksheets, and a songboard where students take real money out of a wallet. LK-MS $35

Recycle
RecycleDoes it go in the garbage or in the recycle bin? Find out as students sort though everyday waste. Sorting skills are reinforced in the songboard, worksheets, and suggestions for classroom activities. Recycle dryer lint with the Dryer Lint Clay recipe (but don't eat it!). LK-R $35

Community Signs LK+
Community SignsMultiple opportunities for instruction and practice abound in this unit about community signs. Students will learn that direction may be provided by more than one type of sign, and can complete a community signs scavenger hunt on their next mobility trip. Digital photos about helpful safety signs observed during a trip to the mall are in the computer story. LK-TP $45
